Special Olympics, through the Young Leaders Without Exclusions Programme, "invests" in young people and strives to make them messengers of advocacy for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities, and equal inclusion in society.Young Leaders, for Special Olympics, are young people from 14 to 24 years old with and without intellectual disabilities, who wish to contribute to the huge issue of social awareness and social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.

Results/Outcomes/Products: Young people who want to become Young Leaders Without Exclusions:
Are informed and trained by Special Olympics, receive the necessary support and expertise,
register as active members of Special Olympics; and are accredited as Young Leaders.
Through their team meetings, the Young Leaders create a central idea for a specific inclusive action, organise this action, contact the stakeholders (institutions, associations, educational units, etc.) and implement it.
