Tèssere recovers and enhances the tradition, history, and culture associated with local textile craftsmanship, highlighting the knowledge and know-how of women and offering new opportunities to those who live in a condition of social and work marginalization. Weaving uses a technique made unique by the use of used and discarded textiles. In a single gesture, ancient art is combined with environmental awareness.
Results:
Results/Outcomes/Products: The project has promoted and facilitated a process of raising citizens' awareness about environmental respect and the proper use of resources. It has allowed for a significant reduction in the amount of textile waste sent to landfills, as it has been transformed through weaving.
