Young Balkan Designers (YBD)

Young Balkan Designers (YBD) is a regional talent platform founded in 2011 in cooperation with the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, with the aim of identifying, promoting and developing the creative potential of the Balkans in the field of design. The initiative is also aimed at unifying the regional design scene, approaching the international audience, strengthening its potential by providing additional education and practice, while at the same time contributing to murals renewal.


Results/Outcomes/Products: In addition to close ten-year cooperation with the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade on the development of YBD, Mikser Organization has established a network of regional and international educational and cultural institutions such as the School of Design, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Applied Arts, Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade, Vern University and the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, City Museum in Ljubljana, Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana...
