Young men examine and construct their attitudes and behavior about masculinity based on these influences. Regional tensions and the economic crisis increase uncertainty about the future of boys in general. Many of them encounter violence every day, either as victims or as perpetrators. In addition, many have biased attitudes and behaviors regarding gender, which affects their relationships and puts them at greater risk of unhealthy lifestyles.
