Youth Dialogue

The project YouPlay

YouPlay is a 24 months’ project planned and implemented by a partnership composed by 7 partners based in 6 countries (Italy, Serbia, Lithuania, Germany, Malta, and Spain).

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of youth NGOs to guide and support young people in developing competences, skills and knowledge that would animate their sense of initiative and active citizenship.

The aim of the Project

About

It targets young people and youth organizations in Europe, creating new tools for youth workers, youth organizations and institutions, on how to engage young generations, valorise their contributions and catalyse the social change.

The Mission

To support youngsters development by improving their citizenship skills and fostering them to engage in democratic participation. The project will provide new tools for youth workers, youth organizations and institutions, on how to engage young generations, valorise their contributions and catalyse the social change. Through the activities planned we want to spread and foster the debate on the SDGs among EU, developing concrete proposals for their implementation.

Research

A research on the situation of youth participation conducted in the countries involved. The process is coordinated by the Maltese partner in strict cooperation with the coordinator and the rest of the members of the partnership. Among the methods used: desk research, questionnaires and focus groups. The final publication includes the structure of the research and its findings. The document is available in 7 languages.

Educational Game

A board game with option cards and scenarios which is available in digital version and it is be combined with a platform in support of players. The platform linked to this section contains the digital extension of the game and a wide variety of resources for youth and youth workers on active participation.

Policy recommendations and adaptation Guide

Presentation of the methodology to be adapted to other fields. Indication of existing tools and systems to recognize the competences that participants will acquire taking part to the educational activities. The guide is available in 7 languages.
