The third international activity of the project took place in Finland, from 4th to 6th of October 2019. The activity, which has been hosted in the city of Helsinki, was focused on the evaluation of the state of the EU Presidency hosted, at this semester, in Finland.
During the meeting, which involved 5 delegates from 5 partner countries: Associazione TDM 2000 International (Italy), Imago Mundi (Romania), Step Europe ry (Finland), TDM 2000 Eesti (Estonia), Law and Internet Foundation (Bulgaria), the group analyzed the EU Presidency priorities:
- To strengthen common values and the rule of law;
- To make the EU more competitive and socially inclusive;
- To strengthen the EU’s position as a global leader in climate action;
- To protect the security of citizens comprehensively.
During the meeting partner delegates analyzed and discussed the progress of the work, the future prospects and the repercussions in terms of youth policies and active participation of young people, including immigrants.
The meeting also served as a moment to share the draft of the platform youthdialogue.eu and to discuss together how work on it, by studying a common strategy.
At the end of the meeting, the project coordinator presented the next international activities which will be held respectively in Portugal in the form of a seminar, and in Malta in the form of an international coordination meeting.
