Consulta Giovani Oliena is an advisory body of the Municipal Administration, to which it presents proposals related to youth issues. It does not pursue any profit-making purposes, is non- partisan and rejects any form of discrimination and violence.
Main objectives:
a) Promotes projects, initiatives, debates, research related to young people inspired by the principles of equality and
participation in the social life of the community;
b) Enhances the activity of voluntary work;
c) Promotes permanent relationships with the Regional, National and International Councils and Forums;
d) Conducts studies and research in the sectors of youth interest (school, university, labor market, leisure, sport, volunteering,
culture, entertainment, mobility abroad, civil and military service, environment, holidays, tourism, groups and associations), directly through autonomous research or through the municipal administrative structures;
e) Formulates proposals and expresses opinions on the drafting of projects related to youth policies and collaborates in their
eventual realization;
f) Represent the young people of the territory in a democratic and participatory way, contributing to the formation of a healthy and robust citizen youth social fabric;
g) Young people have the opportunity to express their ideas, formulate concrete proposals to the City Council and allow the latter to consult them on specific issues; It can be joined by all interested residents, domiciled and/or registered in Associations of Oliena aged between 16 and 32 years without distinctions of sex, race, religion, political opinions, personal and social conditions.
