Student Cultural Center Belgrade (abbreviated SKCB). The building in which SKC is located was built in 1895 and was known as the Officer’s House, designed by Jovan Ilkić. The building was handed over to the University of Belgrade, that is, to the students after the large student protests in 1968.Since then, SKC has been and remains an important place for Belgrade’s youth and avant-garde, from which many important authors in all fields of art emerged.
